My only complaint would be the narrow depth of field, but even this is not reallly all that bad. I clearly wont be returning it and will keep it for the use I bought it for. I also would have paid for a decent storage box (it comes in styrofoam/cardboard boxing). ***

    Very good quality microscope, much better than brands available at retail outlets. The main optics are very easy to use and show very sharp images. I haven’t figured out how to use the trinocular yet. I would have rated this product 5-stars but the manual is not very good. Overstock delivered the item quickly while taking back a previously ordered microscope. I ordered one with greater magnification (100 -1000X) that I didn’t need. I would recommend this to anyone who what’s to explore the microscopic world with their children.

    Excellent quality of manufacture that offers and performs exactly as described, Worth noting for international customers is that the power supply for the inbuilt top and bottom illumination is a switching power supply that covers all from 120 to 240 volts. Also a nice touch was the inclusion of spare lamps to both illuminators. Internation dispatch was well packed and arrived with no damage, intial dispatch took a little longer than I expecected, but still acceptable ... but left me wondering for a week what was happening. Overall excellent

    I bought this to replace an inexpensive one I bought for my grandchildren, to build an enthusiam for science. This scope is fully capable for college level work and will serve us for many years. Since the lens cannot touch the platform, I do not have to worry about the chldren breakng the lens. Thanks for offering great products at competitive prices!

    • The microscope comes with a tube for viewing and you can attach a camera. The camera could be attached to a usb cord and to the computer to view the specimens. You would need some sort of adapter to help mount the camera to the telescope.
