Poor Quality Control
The first one I received was defective and couldn't focus on anything past 10 feet. The second one was also defective. It would focus correctly and had good clarity, but the eyepiece did not fit securly to the body and kept falling off. I'll try one more before giving up because it seems like a nice scope -- if I can find the one in a haystack without defects. Overstock obviously got a whole batch of defective scopes real cheap and is selling them in hopes that a few are good. If you buy, be sure and purchase five at a time so you can pick out the best of the lot and return the four that will be defective.
