Barska Spotting Scope

The spotting scope was received in a timely manner and it was of good quality for the money. The scope was suppose to come with a mounting tripod but the tripod was missing. I contacted customer service, via email, and explained that I didn't want to return the scope but the tripod was missing and I would like to have a tripod delivered. I haven't had any reply to let me know the status of the tripod. I am frustrated with the lack of response and I am ready to return the scope and request a refund.

Great hobby scope

On a scale of 1-10, I would give this an 8. For the backyard user or the field hiker this is a very good scope. I'm very satisfied using it to observe wildlife and waterfowl from my backyard. I find the zoom feature makes it easy to locate and then zoom in on bird species. It is constructed to withstand field conditions. I find it easier to attach it to my much larger tripod which is sturdier than the tripod supplied. Images are sharp and easily focused.

good for the money

Good all around scope for the money. I use it primarily for watching ships, and have it on a tripod ( not the one it came with) in my livingroom. When shopping, I was so caught up in numbers and zoom power....and now find I use it mostly on the 20 to 30 zoom power.

Nice scope for a good price

So far, I have only had limited use for this item because f the holiday season. It arrived quickly and seems to be a nice tool to have in the woods. I tried to register this roduct online however, their registration site has been down for a while.
