I JUST GOT THIS SCOPE FOR MY BIRTHDAY 16 DEC.2010 AND PUT IT ON MY M-4 , IT TOOK ABOUT14 ROUNDS TO ZERO IT IN , SO FAR SO GOOD , IT'S DEAD ON , SO FAR FOR THE MONEY I THINK IT'S WORTH IT , I HAVE SHOT ABOUT 400 ROUNDS WITH THE NEW SCOPE AND VERY PLEASED
I have had the opportunity to use a lot of different optics on many different platforms. Dont be fooled. This isnt a Trijicon, it does'nt have the options of the EOTech. However for the price this is a great reflex sight for your M16 or AR style rifle. Build is rigid, it had a good tight grip on the picatinny rail system, windage and elevation were simple to get to and operate, adjustments of the reticle brightness was very easy even when actively sighting. Oh and did i mention it looks cool on the gun when you are shooting sub MOA within 10 minutes of slapping it on the gun! Con: I had some issues with different lighting conditions, with a dim lighted condition, i originally had some issues seeing a red hologram in the sight, however i machined a 1/4" riser and it took the "glare" right out. My father did not see the hologram, so it all depends on your angle of view through the optic. Overall: If you have a cool Grand to drop on an optic, get a Trijicon or a EOTech. If you got a Benjamin burning a hole in your pocket, this is the way to go!
I'm a professional firearms instructor and "gun nut" who's built a dozen or so different AR uppers in various calibers. Some of those have $1000+ sighting devices on them but most don't need that hi-dolla of a sight. I've bought a couple of these now and, as usual, Barska offers a very high quality lower cost alternative. These are great!
Picked up this Henche in a China product on great after a Thanksgiving sale from O. I have it on a recent AR build and it works well and didn't break the bank to have a useable optic . I' prefer made in USA products but the value and quality are excellent.
one out of everythree hits dead nut center but that could just be me.it isnt a aimpoint or eotech or a trij.... but it works and is fun and brutal looking 100.00 is cheaper than alot of places i got mine free with overstock money points so i was happy.am going to upgrade to a aimpoint pro but if your low on dollars well worth it
