Balance Board with 5 fulcrums

Dandilyon from Dyer, IN, Dec 17, 2008

In my strength and balance training class I was using a board just like this one and decided I needed one to practice on at home everyday. It only takes a minute or two at a time to get the benefits. I love it. I'm a senior, but my children and grandkids use it when they visit. I highly recomend it.

Balance Board

8861hg from Colorado, Jun 11, 2008

I just started using it yesterday and it works really well. I had a severe auto pedestrian car accident last year and I'm using the balance board to try and regain strength in my leg. I'm over 40 and am a weight lifter. It's going to take a lot of work to get the strength back in my leg, but I've come a long way from where I was when I was first injured.

Worth MUCH more than I paid for it!

lobaloba from Charlotte, NC, Jan 5, 2008

I'd been looking for a balance board for quite a while, but they were always so pricey. I'm a personal trainer & was looking for something that I could use with a variety of clients, not just the elite athlete. This balance board is well-built, safe, and comes with 5 fulcrums (easy to attach & detach). I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Balance Board with 5 Fulcrums

Louiseandme from Southern California, Dec 9, 2007

I had an expectation of using this with a child that has motor difficulties. It's not that cool. I use it myself (I think to justify having bought it!) There is a very small (about 1/2 inch) tolerance before you are not suspended in a balanced state on the center fulcrum. So if you are self motivated to improve your ability to stand on a board balancing 1/2 inch off the ground... go for it. Don't expect it to motivate a child.
