This is my second set of G scale trains and this is the best. This set looks and sounds like the real thing. It comes with plenty of track to make a good looking layout, cars light up also.

The product was to arrive in 10 to 14 days. 21 days later I contacted OverSize that product showed delivered but was not. Replacement shipped no questions asked. Received product, and since it is a Christmas item for use around our tree I did set it up on garage floor and all worked as it should except the lights in the cars. Not a problem am replacing them with LED's anyway. LED's will run off of Lithium batteries that will be recharged from power on the tracks. That keeps lights from dimming when train speed is reduced; providing fully lite car interiors. Train set 185.00 less than price quoted in two local train dealers

I bought this for my husband after reading reviews, he wanted a really nice to have under our Christmas Tree this past Christmas. After going to different stores he was disappointed of their quality. When he received it, he couldn't be more satisfied of the quality and details on the train. Worth every penny paid for it!
Train set looks and works as advertised. Goes great with our Christmas tree, and the scale is large enough to dissuade our cats from messing with it. Instruction manual (provided) covers just about everything for assembly and operation. Multiple 9V batteries (not included) were required to get all the lights and sounds working. The only light powered by the track is on the locomotive. The switch for the lights on each coach are located on the underside, so you have to feel around to find it unless you want to take the car off the track. The 9Vs are also quickly depleted if you forget to turn those lights off between use. The sound can be a little overpowering, and while it gets the "chugga chugga" sound right, there is no "choo choo!", leaving something to be desired. The clip that connects the transformer to the tracks required a lot of force to get in place, and I'm surprised I didn't snap the thing in half. The amount of track provided is just enough to look decent around a 8' tall tree. We may get more in the future.
