  Wasn't to sure about the product when we ordered it but we did not want a hard sided backpack. We loved the backpack. We did quite a bit of hiking with our 15 month old son, and we thought it was the best thing in the world. He was very comfortable in it and loved being able to look around at everything. The best thing about it was that my husband or I could use it, it was easy to size to any person, my husband is 6'1" and I am 5'3".

  • How accurate was the sizing? accurate- This was great for our 15 month old.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Product was good, our son enjoyed sitting in it. The only issue we had is that one of the clasps was missing from the front and we had to go buy another clasp.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It was missing a clasp on the front, we had to go buy one for it.

  Vaude seems like an excellent company and this product is close to perfect for me. I use it everyday for walks around the neighborhood and to the playground/around town. I have two older children riding bikes and playing so I need to carry my almost 18 month old often. I have tried many baby carriers/backpacks with my 3 children and this fits my needs the best. I also use a soft backpack but my baby sometimes seems squished and complains. I wish there was more padding on the lower back and on the shoulder straps. I'm a tall, thin woman and it fits great after I got used to it. I wanted something very simple with structure that my baby would be comfortable in. She rests her feet on the hip belt. There is a "drool pad" that can be removed and washed. I would not recommend for a small baby.
