Good endurable quality. My seven year old is so inspired by it that she wears it around her neck along with my safari hat on her head. We look forward to using it for hikes and camping expeditions this year.

I think the Military Engineer Style Lensatic Compass is of execellent value because it does what it is suppose to do while I walk or hike..

I work outside in the fields alot and a compass is necessary to keep my dircetion in the tall corn fields. This product is very well made and sturdy. I have had no problems with it giving me directions. I am amazed that it was this good quality for this low price. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a reliable compass.

Good quality. Numbers a little small for my not so good eyes. Delivery was quick,and the item was as promised.

I purchased two compasses from overstock. One is functional for outdoor use. The Oriental astrological compass is interesting and a nice design, but I'm unsure of the purpose of it's use other than telling direction. I ordered it because of the ornamental case, but it's function is a mystery.

This is a nice well made and accurate compass. A good value. Would recommend to anyone.

This compass is a good deal for the price. It seems to be made well and is more accurate than the digital ones I own. The only problem is I ordered the solid black colored one as advertised on the web page and I received black with a brass colored bezel.

I need a compass for my european vacation, just wanted an inexpensive one but not a piece of junk. This is it. It is easy to read, has some heft to it without being weighty and closes up. As other reviewers have said the box is really cheap looking but the instructions are on it. I guess if it's for a gift you could cut the back off the box and put it in a gift box and it would be just fine. A great deal on a nice compass.
