Okay, I'm probably the only one in the world who doesn't realize this but if your flashlight doesn't work when you get it, open the rear end of it and *shake out the batteries*. My batteries came encased in a semi-hard clear plastic wrap that was not immediately visible when I opened it the first time. I got new batteries and was going to put them in and THEN see if the flashlight worked, but when I actually shook the ones that came with it out--Voila!--I saw the plastic which was preventing them making contact. You have to take this off. There were no instructions saying this.

Bright, bright, bright! Convenient size. Hefty enough but not cumbersome. Despite description, it is probably not very water resistant.

I am very satisfied with this product. I purchased it to use while I am camping. The amount of light it puts out is as good as I expected. I am very pleased with the battery life since I forgot and left in on for several hours. The only drawback is that I expected more of a beam rather than a flood light.

I used it for patrolling and very disappointed in quality. I wanted to send it back so bad but the shipping cost stopped me. The product detail said "visible ups to 1 mile" , that's not true at all.You can't focus on anything with this flashlight and the visibility is only about 15 feet away,that's all (with the new batteries). It's very hard to turn on because you have to twist the bottom part until you get the right click and it will turn on. Most of the time, I twisted,twisted and twisted until the batteries fell out and still couldn't get this flashlight to turn on !!! It would be better if they make a switch instead of twisting !!!! because by the time I get it right and the light was on, the subject or people who hid in the dark corner was already flee or when I twisted it off and put it back, it suddenly turned on itself. Sometimes I twisted it and it would be on for only 5 seconds then off itself !!! It's very frustrated to get it right , I wouldn't recommend this for any law enforcement.

This flashlight is the brightest flashlight we own. In a recent wind storm, we loaned it to family that lost power. They couldn't believe how bright it was. It is a great value for the cost.

The flashlight looks and feels great, easy to use, but i was a little disappointed in the strength of the light it gives, given it requires three batteries and is a 14 bulb LED. It is not really any better than an ordinary flashlight.

This gets the good review from me because it is so very very bright and a huge thank you to the reviewer who said to shake out those batteries and take off the plastic. The flimsy import looking box says nothing about even twisting to turn it on. It is not as big as I thought and I wish it had some kind of strap attached, but it was refreshing to see this bright daylight type shine emitting rather than a golden glow.
