Great rod and reel combo. Excellent deal, product, and service.

I returned this item as the quality just wasn't there. The reel was cheap and felt like plastic, even though it appears that it should be a cast aluminum. There are much better starter sets out there. Go with a brand like Okuma, Pflugger, or Albright (like I did). Better quality and cheaper.

I received the fly rod set with out the reel. Then when you sent me the reel the line wasn't on the reel & I had to purchase the necessary product to install the line on the reel.

Reel is not something that I would put much confidence in...

I needed a packable fly rod for my bike trips. I really like this rod and reel outfit as it is very compact. Plus it will store well in my camper. I tried it out in the park and it casts great. Plenty of power but not heavy. It feels like my best two piece rod. Nice reel too. I'd recommend this rod and reel to anyone.
