I have been using this as my daily alarm Clock now for the last few months. If you are a heavy sleeper, this is the alarm clock for you. Not only is it a pretty collectible but functional too. P.S. The battery size is not your regular battery (C) and ever since I purchased this clock over six months ago, I have not changed the battery.

I purchased this clock for my mother, who told me about how she was cutting down her electric bill, and she was planning on replacing her clock radio as well. I was disappointed when it arrived in non working order, due to a dead battery, but it was an easy enough fix. After she finally got a new battery for it, she loves it! Being as she is deaf in 1 ear, I was so delighted when she told me she could hear it perfectly, even when asleep on her good ear. It was the perfect choice for a gift. I have not seen the clock, (though she did have the alarm ring over the phone) but my mother thinks it's beautiful. She hasn't had it long, but so far so good. Glad I decided to make this purchase.
