Poor Buy
from Minneapolis, MN,  May 6, 2008

Only got 31 pennies in this lot. 5 of them were either scratched or otherwised defaced. Out of the remaining, only 3 were from the SF mint. A poor distribution and quantity for the buck.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all comments and take quality and origin issues seriously. After researching with our warehouse, we can assure you these pennies are genuine US steel pennies that are re-zinced to enhance their beauty, which produces the bluish tint. We apologize for any miscommunication or frustraction this caused, and want you to know that because of your comment we are looking into adding a disclaimer to prevent further confusion.

not worth it--these go for 10 cents a piece at a coin dealer--for 30 you can get for $3

I received 26-P's, 3-D's, and 1-S some were scratched. It didn't matter because they all were tinted blue.

Bankers Bag of 1943 Lincoln Steel Pennies
from Hamilton, MT,  Jan 1, 2009

Loved the pennies!!! They are so bright and shiny and uncirculated looking. Plenty of variety of 1943 S, D, and P. Glad I ordered two bags while you had them! Highly recommended.

Would have liked to see at least 1 more S. All coins were sharp with few marks.

Bankers Bag of 1943 Lincoln Steel Pennies
from Phoenix, AZ,  Mar 26, 2008

I received my bag. Penny's are dated 1943. They do stick to my magnet. But they are shiney blue steel in color as opposed to off white. I believe these are refurbished pennies. Which makes then a novelty item, not a collectible from a numismatist's point of view. i.e. they are altered coins, having only face value.

Banker's Bag of 1943 Lincoln Pennies
from Bethany, Oklahoma,  Mar 23, 2008

3/23/08 Overstock, I would highly recommend these coins to any serious "coin collector". They are in nearly mint condition, and without taking them out of the plastic sleeve, I could not find a flaw on them! You get plenty of mint marks from all over the country's minting range, so you won't be wondering if they all came from one minting! Very, very nice collection - and I would recommend these to all my coin collecting friends! Hold these tight to your vest! They will be worth a small fortune in 10 - 20 years or sooner! gja

They look great, but you neglect to state if they are uncirculated or circulated. They appear uncirculated, but what are they???
