Hello 122333444455555! I sincerely apologize about the confusion. The active ingredient in this spray is capsaicin and no more than 2-percent is required to deter bears. This amount is enough to deter bears and any more would be harmful to the user. This spray is the choice of professionals who live and work wherever bears are found.
