Yes, exactly. It's taken the 1 inch and the bigger ones. There's an attachment that goes over the one inch rod to make it fit the bigger weights snugly. I love the bench. It's a little wobly at first due to the bench part that toggles back and forth. Since the bolts at the base are holding a lot of the weight. So after some use and they loosen up a little, they need to be tightened here and there until you get a really tight fit and it won't wobble amore. I guess you could make it super right right from the start but I felt like I would break something. I was more comfortable letting the bolts break in a little first. charrisj on Apr 26, 2013
