I tested this club at a Golf Galaxy with 5 other $500-$1000 clubs. I actually hit this club straighter and the feel was much better than the more expensive clubs. I'd buy again. 10-15 handicap
I replaced my 18 year old set of irons with these...after using these, I had to wonder what took me so long...maybe I was just waiting for the right set to come along - well, this is it for me! These irons are well made and well balanced.
I just bought this set to replace my Tommy Armour 745s's that I have had for 8 years. I played my 1st round of the season, and was impressed by how cosistant I hit the 4 and 5 iron. I tend to pull a bit, so I just took a more relaxed swing, and the effort to hit the ball about the same distance, and straighter was almost immediate. I wont know how durable they are till at least mid way through the season, but the wedges do seem to scuff a bit. All in all, a tremendous value.
Just as the description says, these irons are easy to hit, and for this mid-handicapper are a good fit. They also have a nice finish on the clubhead so that my friends complimented me on their appearance.
Nice looking clubs. I also like the feel of the grip and the stiffness of the shaft. I'm still just a beginner, so I can't really compare it to the expensive clubs, but these seem to be very well made and I would definitely buy another set if mine got lost or something like that.
For a quality iron set from a respected name manufacturer these clubs were a super value. They have a great feel and have aded about 15 yards to my distance per iron.
What a difference in my game! I really like the feel of these clubs and the first night they took 5 strokes off my game.
