Early this winter I saw some guy riding on the highway with something like this, and was ready to copy the idea from scratch it was so awesome (though at the same time uber-silly looking, I must admit). Then I found these on overstock, and at overstock prices no less! It's still cold and wet here, and sometimes I pick up frost on the outside of the gauntlets. But I am not cold riding, which means I can ride through the winter.
I needed gloves that could grip without bunching up and this pair was the one.
i still have not received the replacement i was promised . im not even sure if i will order from overstock.com again .
These are pretty good gloves, I ride down to the low 40's- hands stay warm around town (lower speeds) not sure about highway. If it's in the 30's I drive my car. I have a naked (no fairing) motorcycle, just wish the gloves were a bit longer. I had elastic sewn in the (V) section, with my leather sleeves zipped down I had a gap which created drafts down sleeves. This helped but you really have to pull gloves down tight and they will some times come lose, creating that draft again. Kind of a pain, not bad for the price, just not long enough.
I was very impressed with the look and feel of the gloves. My husband really likes them.
