ATN Javelin J600w
Purchased light for Sig516, mounted light on picatinny rail, located pressure swith on Magpul Rail Verticle Grip (RVG), with switch on the fingers not the palm. Positives: 1. Aluminum - sturdy 2. Pressure switch and picatinny mounts integrated on light 3. Bright - large lens with three LED's 4. Priced right as compared to SureFire and other tactical lights Negatives: 1. Can not mount light back on the picatinny rail, lens interfers with mounting so light has to be forwarded with lens hanging off rail, throwing all of the weight to the front. This can be remedied if mounts had been 2mm taller. 2. ATN does not make colored lenses for light; however I purchased 52mm photo filters (red, blue, yellow) and used a Dremel to remove the lens mounts from the filter by cutting slits on both sides of the mounting ring and then removing them. Once removed they drop in. 3. The pressure switch has to be pressed for light to be on; it would be nice for a double tap permenant "on" or a switch on the housing to turn the unit permenantly "on".
