It's the perfect product for your child's dorm room so they can have guests (friends, visiting students, sibling) sleep over. It rolls up easily to store under the bed. Visitors find it fairly comfortable.

Purchased with camper cots for two teenage houseguests. Not as comfortable as I would have liked for them, but if I were using these for camping, I would be 150% satisfied to be up off the ground. I like that they are easy to store and lightweight.

For my use at home as a temporary sleep mat on a camp cot it works very well. Every one should consider planned use and storage space.

Have not had long enough to evaluate durability, but seems well made. Eggcrate is less dense than expected, so that it has high peaks and low valleys that are very close to bottom surface, lessening the comfort more "padding" could have provided: the insulating backing is too thin to double as pad. I'd expected, would also prefer, a layer of material at fusion of eggcrate with insulation. BTW, the insulation performs its function very well...It is highly portable, being light weight, rolls up easily, nice size in XL.
