it what everything i thought it would be and would recommend it to anyone who needed a little something extra for their camping cot.

To reveiw this product for what it was intended for , well....I can't do that. I bought this not to sleep on but, to sit on. I cut it right down the middle and use it for sitting on at my picnic bench while I'm camping. It work OK for this. I bungeed the ends around the bench. I had to be careful while getting my feet in & out to not pull & rip the pad. Overstock is great! I should have reshearched these however before I purchased it. I found them at **** for **** saving me more than half of what I payed for it.

This was my first time actually using a pad camping/hiking and I really couldn't feel a difference with this pad. I usually sleep on the ground, and the pad didn't soften my pallet at all. I was in a cold environment (Mt. Rogers in Virginia) and I'm sure it did help with insulating me, however, I'm sure a softer alternative could be had. If you don't mind sleeping on the ground, this pad is a good buy--it's cheap and lightweight--but don't let it fool you into thinking it will help your back.
