good tent

ddgarcia70 from San Antonio,tX, Oct 25, 2009

Used it the other weekend for a overnight trip. Good size for one person. Not heavy at all. It got down to 50 and I was comfortable. Don't know about durablity since I just got it but it was a good deal and perfect for the occasional backpacker in summer/spring/fall weather.

Alps tent

rfiegel from Seattle, WA, Sep 20, 2009

For the money-a terrific 1 person / 3 season tent. Very light and good for hiking or biking. The half mesh tent under rain-fly makes light and airy for 2 seasons. Too cool for late fall but that's why you bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag. Roomy enough for a 6'1" to sit up and put on clothes. Bring a rain cap for your backpack since will not fit in the vestibule - unless just a day pack.

Quite good, but short

spencer1234 Aug 19, 2009

This is a very good tent overall. It would be perfect but that it is shorter than it says it is. That being said, I do still fit fine in it (I just have to avoid moving too much at night). And, then length should be fine for the very large majority of people since I am 6'5" anyways. Just letting you know it is a bit shorter than it says.
