Just finished camping with the scouts this weekend in Alabama - we had over 7" of rain in two days and ours was one of only 3 tents that stayed dry. The tent was easy to assemble (even in the dark & rain) and we couldn't have been happier. It's definitely not meant to be a backpacking tent but we were able to keep all our gear inside and still have plenty of room for two. I'm very pleased!
This tent is an excellent family tent. Easy to put up and very well made. The floor is durable and the general construction of the tent is very good. A rain test with the sprinkler in the backyard found no leaks.This is not a backpacking tent. It is on the heavy side so I wouldn't want to be carrying it through the bush. The tent was sent in excellent condition and arrived very fast from Overstock. (ordered on 07/01 and delivered on 07/03 - via standard shipping)
