The chips looked good however the shrink wrap that they were wrapped in stuck to end chips and was very difficult to get off. It even took off some of the paint on two of them.

I got this poker chip set for my boyfriend for Christmas. Though I placed the order late and it wasn't here on Christmas, it did show up very promptly, much faster than I thought it would given the holiday season. This poker set is awesome, the chips are great. They have a nice weight to it and the design (which you can see for yourself) is not tacky (like others I've found elsewhere). The case itself is pretty sturdy (made of metal), but the handle is made of plastic. Though we have not stress tested it (nor will we), I trust that it'll hold it's own. The locking feature was a nice surprise too. There was, however, the issue of the box not opening so that it would lie (lay?) flat. This only bothers some people (the boyfriend and not myself). For the avid poker player, this is a STEAL. However, if you are just getting into poker, or just learning, this price might be a bit steep.

This set is superb for the value. It's right up there with what you would actually see in a Casino.
