I bought this for my daughter who loves to hike. She has found it to be one of the most useful items in her backpack.
I am please with the design of the product. petite and easy to use.
I've heard about these kinds of flashlights on radio programs and seen them on TV ads for years. When I needed to replace my small flashlights, I decided to give these a try. I was not expecting them to be very good, but espceially with grandchildren who want flashlights when they spend the night, I thought they would be novel. They work really well. You can use one bulb or click and use three. The light is bright - it is blueish instead of the yellowish light you get from an incadescent. I like the fact that they are green - no batteries in landfills. They are a good fit for the hand. The crank you use to charge them is easy for older hands to use. I don't know how long they will last, but I think they are a good value.

I bought this because I was going to go on a couple of camping trips this summer and the wind-up thing appealed to me, no batteries. They work great. Doesn't put out as much light as a flashlight, but I had no problem getting around in the dark. I was able to find the bathroom and campsite with no problem. I would just wind it up and off I went. It is also small enough to put in your jacket pocket. I bought several more because then the kids could use them as well, and I don't have to ever by batteries for flashlights again. That is a huge plus.
There great ..Had a blackout and my grandkids used them ..Easy to use and super bright...They would make great gifts if any body is a camper or hunter in your family.
These wind-up flashlights are perfect to store in our cars for emergencies; the size and ease of use are ideal. Have seen them at discount stores for twice the price. Will purchase again as gifts. The LED lights are not as bright as traditional flashlights but definitely work for illuminating darkness.
