ive bought machetes before that dented as soon as i used them but this knife is thick hard steel and can handle pretty much anything,has a nice sharp edge and anyone thats seen it wants it.

Husband bought this for yard work (we could not find one in any all-purpose or home improvement store for whatever reason) and did not see that it was a "display only" product. I used it to chop some overgrowth in our backyard and it made it the whole project through before splitting. When I checked the product info on this page I saw it was a "display only" item -- oops! It was a nice machete and I'm sure would last a lot longer on display than at work in the yard. ;-) Still, for the price, it was a good buy.

The blade was very dull and needed sharpening. However it feels solid. Not a huge fan of the handle, but it works. Will be good for what it is.

The price was great and the quality is also very good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who anyone who wishes to blaze trails or kill monkeys.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is a classic bolo machete, the handle makes it "ninja styled". It is very heavy duty. An expensive leather sheath would make this the perfect collector's sword.
