A very good standard set of chips with the availability of all standard casino chip colors (White, Red, Green, Black, Purple, and Orange). Great for the casual player. Good chip weight and usability.Read More
This chip set's feel is very good and it's sound is great. The only problem I have with this set of chips is a non-uniform thickness of all the chip colors. Four colors red, green, orange and black have the same height on a 25 chip stack. White stacks about a half chip shorter on a 25 chip stack and purple stacks a whole chips shorter on a 25 chip stack. Because purple and orange are the fewest chip quantity colors of the set they will have a higher values. So you need to count your purple chips and not compare stack sizes to get a accurate value.Read More
Good quality chip set for the price. You need to order a case or have something ready to store the chips. Some of the 'dots' on the dice are off center and looks sloppy.Read More

Best Types of Tile for Kitchen Countertops
Tile kitchen countertops are an affordable alternative to traditional solid stone units. Countertop tile can be made from many of the most popular materials, such as granite or quartz, yet costs just a fraction of the price. Tile countertops are also easy to install and repair, making them the perfect project for the DIY homeowner. Ceramic. Ceramic tile is made from natural clay that is baked to remove excess moisture. It is available in a wide variety of colors and designs that can be mixed and matched to any kitchen. Ceramic tile is affordable, easy to install and very low maintenance. It is also waterproof and able to withstand high temperatures from hot dishes. If you choose ceramic tile for your kitchen countertops, you should be aware that ceramic tile can crack or chip if heavy objects are dropped on it. To minimize grout stains, you can choose a dark grout and use a grout sealer to protect the seams from dirt. Mosaic. Mosaic tile comes in tiny 1-inch square units. It is often sold in large sheets that are attached to a mesh backer-board, making for easy and fast installation. These tiles can be mixed to create unique patterns and textures, and are very durable. One advantage of mosaic tiles is that they are colored all the way through, so a chip or crack will not be as visible as with ceramic tile. Granite. Granite tile is a natural stone product that is widely popular in kitchen decor. Tiles made from granite offer the beauty of natural stone at a fraction of the cost. Granite tiles often have a mottled surface that helps to hide dirt and fingerprints and are incredibly strong and long-lasting. Like all granite products, these tiles must be sealed after installation and at least once a year for the duration of their use. Quartz. Quartz tile is a manufactured product designed to look similar to granite while offering superior performance. It is made from crushed quartz crystals pressed together with resin. Quartz tile has a smooth and uniform surface with a consistent grain. It is slightly less expensive than granite and is much more durable and long-lasting. Unlike granite, quartz tiles do not need to be sealed. They are completely nonporous, which prevents bacteria from becoming trapped in the surface. Quartz cannot be repaired as easily as granite, however, and it offers none of the natural beauty and color variation of real stone. View All Tile Back to Guides Directory View All Tile
Best Bookshelf Materials
It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy. How to Clean a Computer Fan
Heat is your computer's number one enemy, which is why it has one or more fans to help push hot air out of the computer case and pull cool air in. Computer cooling fans are typically installed next to vents on your computer case, but your computer's processor may have its own fans and heatsinks, which sit on top of the processor chip. Dust and dirt then collect around the blades of each computer fan and may eventually cause the CPU fan to break or slow down. If any one of the computer fans breaks or slows down, heat builds up and may damage the processor or other components in the process. To protect your computer, follow these simple steps for keeping your cooling fans clean.
Best Ideas for a Cowboy Birthday Party
Plan the perfect cowboy birthday party for your little cowhands and their posse with a Western-themed party. With the right decorations, games and food, you can create a hoedown that your child and his or her friends will remember for years to come. Find cowboy party supplies and crafts for a colossal cowboy party, and don't forget to capture every moment with your camera. Invitations. Create cowboy party invitations that look like "wanted" posters using recycled brown cardstock paper. Print a black-and-white picture of the cowboy or cowgirl of honor in the center and use an old-style font or block lettering. Include the time and place for the round-up on the cowboy party invitations. Use fun phrases such as "howdy partner" and "saddle up for the showdown" for added laughs. Ask guests to come in their favorite cowboy attire, including rugged jeans, flannels and boots. Decorations. For cowboy party decorations, cover tables with red and white tablecloths. Display "wanted" posters of the birthday cowboy or cowgirl throughout the cowboy party room. Add balloons in colors of red, white and blue. Shape strands of rope into lassos and place them on the tables or hang them on chairs. Use bandanas or a Western-themed fabric for place mats. Create large cutouts of cacti, horses and cowboys for decorations. Bales of hay, stalks of corn and other items can add to the cowboy party decorations. Place bottles of water or juice boxes in a wheelbarrow filled with ice for refreshments. Dress up. Costumes and clothing can add to the cowboy birthday party theme. Because all guests may not know each other, give each guest a name tag cut to look like a sheriff's badge. Use silver cardstock cut into star shapes and attach the name tags with safety pins or tape. Provide guests with bandanas in a variety of colors. Give each guest a straw cowboy hat and a water pistol for an authentic cowboy look. Games. Though cowboys can be serious, there is nothing like having several fun games planned for even the roughest, toughest cowboy to enjoy. If you're holding a summer party, tell all cowboys and cowgirls to bring their swimsuit for a shoot-out using water pistols. Have a galloping contest; use brooms as pretend ponies and have races to see whose horse is the fastest. Old-fashioned potato-sack jumping contests are easy to assemble. Hold a boot toss contest: Have children toss bean bags, gold coins or other cowboy party supplies into an old pair of worn cowboy boots. Food. Create an old-fashioned homemade spread, complete with a cowboy party cake. Barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs or sloppy joes are always a favorite for little cowboys and cowgirls. Salsa and chips, beef jerky and even pulled pork sandwiches are additional ideas. Corn on the cob and cornbread are traditional cowboy staples. Create a cowboy party cake in the shape of a hat, pony or boot to continue the theme. Goodie bags. Thank each guest for coming by giving them a galvanized pail filled with cowboy party favors. Fill each pail with a small amount of straw or hay. Add trail mix, gold coins and licorice rope to each pail. Tie pieces of raffia or fabric for additional decoration to the pail's handle. For other cowboy party favors, consider purchasing small plastic harmonicas, sheriff badges and cowboy figurines. View All Crafts Back to Guides Directory View All Crafts
