This product is quite useful in a disaster kit, the lantern feature is pretty neat, but the light is quite dim. There are several ways to charge it, the hand cranking for three minutes yields about ten minutes of power. The radio feature works great.
The radio and flashlight work great. The flashlight also comes with a siren and falshing light option which is great. I have always wondered about a solar flashlight but the hand generator takes that concern away. Thank you Steven Wright.
I bought this item for my emergency kit, and it seems to work fine. It uses crank or solar charge, has a radio, has a light that can be popped up for "lantern" type use or can be used as a flashlight, and it has a siren.
Good small size - easy to carry - hand crank for abut a min and get good light life and siren. Radio even turned on and found station easily Good product I recomnd this - will prob get one for myself
