Customer Reviews
They say Heavy Base but they are not heavy on the bottom when holding (they're not like a whiskey glass). They are regular glasses that won't tip over easily. They hold about 18 oz of fluid comfortably and are good looking. They've gone through the dishwasher several times with no etching or problems. This is a great deal.
I purchased these glasses for their size first. The simplicity of the glass is great. They would go well with most table settings. I read the weight is not heavy, they are heavy enough for their intended purpose. If I wanted a 1/2 inch of weight on the bottom of the glass I would have bought something else, however, they are perfect for my needs as a simple glass. They stack also if space saving is a need.
I really like the new glasses. Nice weight and hold a good amount of liquid.
These glasses are nice--as described. Good for everyday use.
The base of these glasses can't honestly be described as "heavy". Nevertheless, they are well made and sturdy. They are just nice, inexpensive, nondescript glasses. They come out of the dishwasher without spots, which is nice. I can't really complain about these glasses at all, except to say the base is not particularly heavy. Not sure why they're called 'iced tea' glasses either. They look just like the beer glasses at my favorite bar. They're the perfect size for pouring a 12oz. bottle of beer and getting a good head of foam on it.
