The platinum replace plan is actually should be called a refund plan. And when you file a claim, it is not through overstock. It is through another company. But the return goes to overstock. And told by customer service today that they may not be fully reimburse. Let alone give me an exchange. The extra money you paid for protection is for partially refund? They said you can only receive refund. But the item's price I bought goes up 30 bucks. So according to my understanding, it is not a replacement plan at all.
I purchased this plan when I ordered a refurbished juicer. The juicer quit working after one use. I never received the information about the replacement plan and it has been approximately 3 weeks now. I had to return the juicer to Overstock for reimbursement and I am still waiting for that.
Depending on what your buying say's a lot about if you should put a replacement plan on. On big ticket items I say yes, to a point. If shipping is necessary, could be a problem repackaging. Two year's on a cheap watch is not worth it. Thing about it, Really!!! After two years, more than likely it will be outdate, obsolete, say what?
I have given this product as a gift, I bought the protection plan for the,. How would I be able to give them information on what to do if they have any problems. Would they have to log into my account?Would they have to have me possibly a year down the road make a call for them , even if I dont ever see them? Would it only be to credit MY account?
