Great clippers
Very good product. I have three different types of dogs and these ckippers work on all of them. Video was helpful. Practice will make me perfect!

great investment
me and my girlfriend got this because our family dog is very matted up and has a thick THICK coat but is very old and has bad arthritis and we cant take him to the groomer and we have had the groomer come to us.. but he just isnt to friendly to the groomer. it was very simple to give him a hair cut and it looked good. he appreciated it to. just be prepared for a big hairy mess to clean up.

Makes Me Feel Like a Pro
My dogs actually enjoy being groomed when I use these clippers! They lie down and close their eyes like they're at the spa, even allowing me to trim in the butt area without nervousness. I gave my Australian Shepherds their "summer cut", removing those lovely "skirts" so they won't pick up thorns and harmful arrow grass. The clippers make a loud click upon starting, and then the sound is a soft buzz and the vibration must be soothing to the dogs. The different teeth lengths allow me to choose how close to trim, and the results look great, even for the first time! No-pull clipping, so the teeth are sharp and the motor is powerful enough even for my dog's thick hair.

Could not make it through a full clip
I ended up getting halfway through a clip and having to use a different pair of clippers. This pair overheated and stopped trimming in no time. I kept them well oiled through the process and still ran into problems. They also click when I use them- as if the whole system is out of balance. I would only recommended these clippers to someone looking to use them for touchup

Very nice
I have gone to a "do it yourself" dog grooming shop and believe this clipper is about the same as the professional one I used at the shop. It worked well on my very hairy cockapoo. It is funny the kit comes with a little mirror! My dog did not use it. The video was nice but the dogs on the video must be sedated, as they were so calm and cool with grooming. My dog did not want to participate. I am impressed with the quality of the clipper and with practice, I think I will get better and my dog will participate more. I would order this clipper again and recommend it to a friend. The onetime cost of the clipper is the same as going to the groomer once!

They work well for what they are designed for...
I've bought many Wahl hair clippers over the last 15 years. I have only bought human Wahl clippers in the past and used them to cut my hair military buzz-cut style and my wire haired terrier's hair. They burn out after a couple of years but that is probably because my dog's hair is very course and thick so I bought the pet clippers hoping they would last longer. We'll see how the pet clippers work out but even if they only last a couple of years they are worth the money. It costs more to take my dog to the groomers once than one pair of dog clippers that last for a few years. They do seem to always get hot pretty fast and need to be oiled, often. But... as I said, my dog's hair is very thick and course so I don't blame the clippers.

I use these clippers to groom my dogs(4). So far i've only done three. They work very good. I didn't do to good on the first one but the clippers worked great!

Great product
These clippers are perfect for my golden retriever. I had tried regular people clippers prior to this and they would clog up with hair. Not with these. Make sure you purchase more clipper oil for future uses.
