I have had this for almost 6 months. It has remained in great shape with a lot of use! It fits perfectly in my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Easy to put on and take out. Seatbelts and straps beneath and above hold it in place...no slipping. Not bulky. My lab loves it. And a great price too!
I thought this seat cover would look more like a quilt from the picture. It is darker red with a gold thread running through the pattern (very holiday looking). But more important, it would not stay put. Every time my Golden Retriever jumped in the backseat the cover would pop off and fold under him exposing the seat. I tried everything to get it to stay on with no prevail. The product description said it was universal and for SUV's. I have a Nissan Xterra, which is fairly popular.
I read some not great reviews on this item, but I think it's great. It fits my Xterra perfectly. Good quality for the price.
This is one of the better covers available. Being "universal" fit does mean it may not always be best for your particular car however. I've found it fits my needs. Other pet seat covers I've bought have not only been more expensive, but frankly not as good. I have another style bought from Hill and Dale that cost twice as much and proved easily ripped, in large measure because it was so slippery the dog kept sliding all over it trying to keep its footing. Also, avoid the nylon stretch along the top. They tear easily. The particular product is a good value and I've bought several now for friends as gifts. Of course, if you don't like plaid, especially Red plaid, you are out of luck!
I was surprised at how easily the seat cover is to put on! I just pulled it out of the package and instaled it in about 2 minutes. It stays securely around the head-rests and looks great. Not sure if you can tell from the photo but there's a pretty gold strand that runs though the plaid. Very easy to clean too. I've had many people ask me where I got it and would gladly purchase another one as a gift.
This supposedly fits most cars and SUVs. I have a Prius--it didn't as well as it would in an SUV. I got frustrated trying to anchor it in place and gave up and put it back in the box. It does fit our CRV better! But we don't always transport the dogs in the CRV.
This is a nice cover for the price. It does not fit our 2008 Maxima to fasten it at the bottom however we will make it work. The material is adequate for dogs not to tear it.
fits well, keeps my back seat clean and dry, my dog loves it!
This seat cover serves the purpose. Once you get it on it stays in place well. The material is a little scratchy. Ad says it is GREAT for SUV's . . . I have a small car and it fit perfectly. I don't really think this would have fit in my SUV. Overall, this is a good product for the cost. Very sturdy.
I got this for my Toyota Highlander and it fits perfect on the back seat. My lab goes swimming and the slots for seat belts are a major plus. He has a harness that attaches to the seat belt and it doesn't move at all when he's jumping in and out of the car. Also works great for keeping water and hair off the seats.
This really works so well, we have two labradoodles who love the car, mud and dog parks. This is perfect for keeping them happy and us happy, so that the seats keep clean. Easy to put on and take offf. It is so great I bought two more, one for my car (the first one was for my husband's Dodge Ram pick up) and the other is a gift for my mom who also totes the dogs around town.
Fits my large SUV Expediton without issue. My sons carseat can be strapped easily and the dog hair stays on the cover. Nice! I have a large Rottweiler and the back does not slide or crumple.
While the cover is nice-looking and the price is right, it is too small for my Murano back seat and does not stay in place.
I think I had an idea in my head about what this would be like, so it was mostly an expectation problem. I had not expected the 'sparkle' in the plaid - and while the bottom seat fit amazingly well (I have a Mercedes C240 Wagon), when I attached the back seat area, it just buckled up. What I ended up doing is folding it in half with the plaid to the outside, and just having it on the bottom portion of the seats. It sits very securely this way. I have gotten used to the bit of sparkle now and it's fine - the fabric is otherwise great (I love plaid in small doses). The cover seems very durable though it's not particularly soft - not like the blanket sort of thing I was expecting. But that's my own mistake. I am now mostly really happy with it!
The seat cover is good quality and durable --- but it did not fit the seat...... I have a dodge full size truck...and it is just a little small for the seat....almost fits the seat...but for the price --- it works.
When you see this in the picture , it fits perfectly. Try and get it in your car, and it looks and works terrible. It would not stay on the seat, and by the time we were only a few miles out of town, I may not have had anything on the seat. It was all messed up and did no good keeping the dog hair off the seat. It looks good when you get it, but try to put it on the seat and keep it there is another thing. Definitely not happy with this product!
It looks nice enough, fits my Honda CRV, and seems to be pretty sturdy, but - my Weimaraner HATES it! The waterproof underside makes the cover too stiff and my dog slides all over it.
This was so disappointing. While it claimed to be a Universal fit cover, it did not fit my Jetta. The only part that fit was the back straps over the headrest. Everything else just hangs. Because it does not fit, my dog can't get a good grip and slips around. I think I'm going to have to cut my losses and go back to searching for a seat cover.
I bought this cover because I have 2 car seats and leather seats. It works excellent. I was afraid the car seats would ruin my leather. Like another customer said my SUV has the center seatbelt that crosses the chest, so you can't sit anyone in the middle seat. That is the only downside I could find. My husband was even impressed at how nice it looked.
The dog blanket for the backseat of the car reminds me of a raincoat for a little scotty. It is very easy to install, just slip the seatbelts/buckles through slits that reclose with velcro to provide a nice closure. I really liked the way it folds up when not in use. It reminded me of a little plaid case with a nice handle on top that you can easily store under the front seat of the car. The gold thread looks nice and Christmassy ( major mud and wet season!) and when I first saw it, I thought that it probably would work well with babies and toddlers as well!! The cover looks very cute and I am pretty sure that it is machine washable, though I haven't tried that yet. Overall I think it is a great value, because you will save a fortune shampooing and cleaning your back seat and it not only keeps the back seat free from dirt and mud, but it also is heavy duty enough to protect from serious dog scratches! As a professional dog trainer I chauffeur a lot of K-9s around and I am thrilled to have found this for such a reasonable price! Thanks!
