Dog breeder
As an owner of multiple show dogs and pets and many types of crates I expected this to be a very nice crate based on the description and picture. The brittle plastic parts that comprise door locks, clamps, etc. will not hold up to frequent use. A piece of the plastic clamp that holds the sides up broke off the second time I closed it. The garage type door on the side falls out easily and the entire mechanism has to be taken apart to reinstall it. The exposed screw heads and recessed areas at the bottom of the crate sides can create a safety hazard for feet and toenails. It might hold up for use with a senior, inactive dog but not for any animal that moves around much in the crate. The base and wheels are nice but I don't think they would hold up for hauling dogs in and out of areas or in use in a vehicle where stops and starts shift animal weight.

Nice option
My wife and I have two toy poodles, and we really like these. Th dogs are crate trained, and the garage door option makes it much easier to open and close them without making the dogs go around the door. It also means we can leave them open all day for the dogs to nap in without causing a trip hazard. We are very happy with them. The doors have come off the track twice, but we learned that it is pretty easy to put back. Once we trained the dog to stop pushing on the door as we opened it, it hasn't happened since.

Seems ok to me...
Any reviews I found for this product were all over the board, so I just took a chance and ordered it because it definitely looks better than our old wire crate and it is partially plastic with rounded corners (we have a small child and the corners on the old crate always made us nervous when he was first learning to walk). I also liked the "garage door" idea, making it a little easier for my dog to come and go. And the price on Overstock.com was far less than I found anywhere else on the web. We received it in less than a week of the purchase date and it was easy to put together - I did not have any issue with parts breaking as other reviews had stated. It seems like it is going to be a nice fit for our 4 year old pug who was already crate trained. Since the locks are plastic, I could see how they might not stand up to a larger dog or one that is not comfortable in a crate environment , but our dog really only paws at the doors right when we get home and he's excited to get out, so I don't see it being an issue. I'm actually more concerned with it standing up to my 2 year old son who is fascinated with the "garage door" - haha!
