Very pleased!!
I'm very happy with this doggy gate & the extension. We needed something that looked nice in front of our dining room and this does the trick! Spoke with an Overstock sales rep on the phone because I had difficulty selecting a color (color swatches were not shown online) and she was very helpful. Gate arrived fast and was easy to install.

Nice but you must be careful
The Step over Gate and extension are both very nice. I have received several comments about their look and match with the decor. The nails on the extension piece are a bit longer that those on the actual Step Over Gate. Where this is a problem, is when "someone" catches a leg/foot as they go over. The longer nails make the extension less "tight" together, causing the wood to split, slightly. Provided the gates are not hit, run into, or pushed over, they will look good for a long time. However, if you have children under 5 ft tall, know that they will bump into or rock the gate which will cause problems down the road.
