I have a 2 year old Border Collie, whom I have given the appropriate name of "Distructor". He had chewed through "indestructable" dog beds, and of course dog toys. He has struck again. I purchased the Medium Fire Hose dog toy, I took it out of the package, cut away any tags, and within a half hour, he tore through it. Yes, tore through it! Oh well, back to the old drawing board to try to find a toy he will not and can not destroy.

Unfortunately my Dobie tears thingds apart faster than I can buy them. I am at fault for letting her get away with chewing on a toy too long. The fire hose part is /was great, the ends couldn't stand up to Shroda's chewing and tearing the ends off. It is a good product for the price. And I like the color.

This toy lasts one year for a dog that tears through stuffed toys in minutes. We buy one every holiday season to put in her stocking. This year we let her open it a few days early because last year's version bit the dust, and she was so sad to see it go.
