Buy a size larger...
I read the size chart very carefully before purchasing, but it was still too small for my dog. Granted, he's big for a chihuahua, but still - the measurements are off. I'm probably going to "hack" the shirt, and attach some elastic so it's a more comfortable fit for him. Also, I was hoping the printing would be a little more durable, it seems like it will wear off fairly easily. But the concept and design is so cute, I'd probably still recommend it to a friend - just make sure you read the size chart carefully, and then order a bit larger than you think you need. (Easier to take something in than to let it out - as I'm about to find out. :-/ ) And don't expect the printing to last forever, either.
