Will this pen fold flat like traditional steel ex-pens? If so, how tall is the stack when folded, for one 6 panel assembly?
I have a 14 lb shih-Tzu/Bichon mix that is 6 years old and has a fear of being put in a crate. He is really well behaved and able to have the run of the place during the day with no problem, however, I live in an apartment and it's occasionally necessary to crate him. Every time it was a huge disaster. he would claw so hard to try to get out of a traditional crate that he would rip his little feet apart, it was so sad. So, I got this, thinking it would give him more space, but still keep him safe when I needed him contained. It was perfect! He still didn't like being "caged" up, but he was not a basket case when I let him out, didn't cut his paws (vertical plastic "bars" are awesome!) and was his usual happy self as soon as I let him out. Thanks for offering this product. It sure does take up a lot of storage space though. I kept the box to keep it in (unassembled) when not in use. I can see this lasting forever.

great for small, senior dog My 15 year old Italian Greyhound is in the midst of her senior years, sadly blind from cataracts, slight dementia, and experiencing severe incontinence issues. Aside from covering everything with washable covers, I decided it was time to keep her confined to a space lined with washable pads for the times when I was at work. I ended up purchasing this item after a long and exhaustive search for a crate-like item that would not be too small or allow her to harm herself. My dog has never been crate trained, so this change has managed to be a challenging one with several past attempts ending up with cut paws and bloody results. This item was incredibly easy to assemble, and its vertical openings meant that my dogs small paws fell through those spaces and didn't get caught or injured like they have with metal crates or other plastic crates. A nice feature with this item's six panel set up is the ability to customize the shape. Very happy, overall!

Best Pen Use this pen with litters. It works great to contain them and is easy to sterilize. Configures into different shapes. Door for bigger dogs can be opened by jumping against it, but works well for puppies.

Fantastic!!! Purposeful!!! I have two dogs who can't seem to stay inside the house. Well, this certainly made them stop from leaving our deck without supervision. We can now leave them on our large deck without worrying about our dogs attacking our yard. These are also made of plastic (durable) hence they can withstand rain/water and hot sun. Extremely satisfied with this product.
