I've had many cages from many companies through the years. They've all had various problems. This one is no different. The top is a bit difficult to get on because it just didn't want to stay on evenly and tight. I did make it work. But I had to bend the metal tabs and force it onto the 2nd row of wire so that it would fit snug. Now that the tabs are bent, one tab is cracked and can not be unbent. So that top is on to STAY. The plastic tab that holds the chimney came broken off. It just came out of the package when I started unwrapping the pieces. I didn't ask for a refund because that's a pain. I just used a black piece of string to secure it at the top and it's plenty tight at the bottom with the screws provided. Then the top of the cage that looks like a veranda, was also cracked and didn't hold up. I ended up throwing that away. So it's not as cute as it could be. I wanted to change my mind about the cage even before I received it. But overstock only gives us an hour to cancel a product. So overstock gets a huge thumbs down from me. I'm stuck with an inferior cage that will simply have to do because I detest having to ship something back and because the poor bird was living in a fish aquarium and really needed a cage immediately.
