I bought this for my chinchilla and it is twice as big as the cage we adopted him in. My 19 year old son put it together and had a bit of trouble with the directions. He had to re-do it a few times, and he is an engineering student! But once it was put together it was awesome. The ramps are flimsy plastic and my chin tends to knock them down. I added wood ledges to the cage that made it nice so I will add wood ramps too. The platforms are plastic but they are thicker. He hasn't chewed any of it yet but if he does I will replace it with wood. The cage itself it very nice. I like the wide doors and latches. I like that there was not a wire crate on the bottom, just a tray. It would have been nice for the bottom to have a ledge so litter doesn't fall out on the floor. It's not too bad. I like the wheels and it moves around nicely. The rack on the bottom is handy for putting pet supplies on. It appears to be a sturdy cage for our chinchilla. We have only had it about 3 weeks but so far so good. I would buy it again.

Nice cage for the money I am very pleased wiht the sturdy structure of the cage and only have 1 issue. The ramps which go from level to level a very easily chewed as noted from our pet. If not for that issue would have given 5 stars but still a very nice cage which moves easily on wheels.

Poor welding.... It is an ok cage, but the instructions were not very helpful when trying to put it together, I ended up watching a YouTube instructional video on the assembly process and still screwed up 2 or 3 times. Also once it was assembled and our ferret was able to play in it she pulled on one of the bars on the lower level and it came undone and she escaped ( she is only 3 months old, she shouldn't have been able to do that it if were constructed properly but the welding is very poor).
