Prevue Pet Products 3173 Large Royalty Bird Cage

This is a wonderful cage and for hundreds less than on other bird cage sites. It takes some time to put together, but is well-designed and has all the features and conveniences one would want in a quality cage. I was insistent upon size, function and style.....who wants to look at an ugly cage for years? This cage fit the bill perfectly with its Asian flair. I got the Coco (tan) color to match my walls, and to minimize eye strain on my bird, and the feeding cups, door latch and pull out tray are all well done. The door hatch rattles a bit due to its pull down feature, but I remedied that with a homemade leather bumper and some twine to tighten the rattling piece's axle. The cage is very heavy and comes in two huge boxes. Get a friend to help with unpacking and assembly. It is on smooth caster, though, and easy to move once done. The dimensions are a bit larger widthwise, as I do not think the listing dimensions take the extra "wings" on the upper cage design into account, so be aware if you have a space issue. I am very happy, and now am just awaiting the hatching and delivery of my new baby pied crow!
