Fun
There were a couple broken pieces but nothing that interfered with playing the game. I have two mini weenies and a german shepherd. One of the weenies LOVES the game and is a female. The two others are male and just sniff it a little but won't get excited and trouble shoot like her. It is overall a GREAT game and she has gotten very fast at completing it. Depends on your dog's personality if they will go for it or not. She is very curious and always trying to get into stuff FYI.

Stimulating but not TOO hard
I would give 5 stars but pieces were broken off. Still a great toy. I sent one to my brother's dog for Christmas and hope his wasn't broken. A knob was broken off and 2 pieces of wood on the guides the top that slides slides into. My dog is not that smart (and not that interested in treats) so I was surprised he got all 4 fairly quickly. But it was all banging away at it with his paw. He seems to have no memory of HOW to open these things, just that they will open at some point if he keeps banging away. I guess a border collie could write a paper on it. Shouldn't have come broken, but a good toy.
