Small Small Small
I have 2 cats that I needed to replace their carriers for those dreaded vet trips. One of my cats is short and stocky and fits in it perfectly and in climbed in as soon as I was done putting it together. But...my longer, taller slimmer cat was just too big for it. I ended up ordering the medium size for her. I still don't know why those little doors on the top are there...I guess you have to cut them out to use to drop food or toys in there...don't know or care really. These are only for short trips. We go next week to the pet doc for annual shots...they will hate the whole thing....but look very cute in the new carriers.

Good carrier,not for big kitties
I like this brand of carriers.They are easy to assemble and they last quite awhile.I wouldn't get this size though if you have a huge kitty.This worked well for my kitten and one of my smaller cats.The price could've been a little lower.I have cats that like to sleep in it when they don't have a vet appointment!

Kitten likes it!
My 8 lb cat, who did not like the trip to the vet, liked the carrier. He had plenty of room to turn around, sit, and lie down. It is quite roomy inside, although the one deceiving part would be that the doorway is smaller than the inside, so sometimes getting him in is a challenge. Overall a good product for a good price.

My cat loves this carrier!
There are 2 compartments on the top, we use them at the veterinarian to stash p/w and collars during examinations. The top is easily detachable. I bought this carrier when I adopted a 3lb kitten. That kitten is now a 16lb cat and he loves this carrier. If the door is open he will crawl in to his little mancave. During nice weather in New England I let him sit on my balcony, in the carrier. The construction allows for easy carrying and free flowing fresh air. I'm not familiar with the shoulder straps but need to buy a larger size since my cat has outgrown this :(
