Easy to clean and use This box works better than other 'in line' comb style automatic boxes. It does sometimes need to have the tines 'tweaked' so that they are perfectly aligned on the bars so that it doesn't squeak. Use the right kind of litter (the tightest clumping stuff you can buy) and it works great.

Kind of a mess This product works GREAT for removing urine clumps, but the pieces of poo just break up and float on the top of the litter. I've tried several different brands of litter but have found no difference. It's really kind of disgusting, and since I'm constantly having to rake the poo pieces up, it defeats the purpose of having an automatic litter box.Also, the area for the litter is very small - one of my cats kicks the litter out every time he uses the box, so I'm constantly having to sweep up litter.

Sorry! Sorry to contribute a negative review. I love Overstock.com and have always had positive experiences with my purchases until now. The SimplyClean Litter Box simply does not clean. I have tried coating the inside of the pan with Pam and changing litters. Nothing works. The mechanism gets hung up wherever there is a good sized wet spot. I have one cat, medium size. I just had him checked out at the vet and his kidneys are fine. He's not urinating more than any normal cat. For me this item has been a very messy waste of money.

Seems to work well I have bought a number of automated litter boxes in the last 10 years. The winner is litter robot. But not all teh cats like to jump into a small confined box. One of my old cats decided not to use it anymore after using it for 6 months. Besides taking her to the vet, I tried to encourage her to use other automated litter boxes. The litter maid is really bad. it was loud, woke me up every single night, and I had to manually clean it everyday. this litter box "Petsafe" seems to work well together with the non-stick spray to prevent litter from sticking to the bottom of the box. and the important part that I noticed is to add enough litter to the box.

Worth it I also have an issue with poo being broken into little pieces. I have to scoop them out as they are too small to travel up the conveyor. It does keep the smell to a minimum and uses plastic grocery bags. It's still better than traditional and other auto cleaning boxes and I would recommend it to other cat owners. I do wish they would make a cover for it.

Excellent solution for our needs, we have 1 cat We have tried other automated cat boxes & they scared our cat, this one is quiet & efficient. The only problem we have is with our dog dismanteling it from time to time to get into it (gross).
