This is a wonderful, WONDERFUL must have for any pampered or older pet. The heat is subtle, yet perfect for pets who want to lay for hours. It took my pets about 1 day to get used to it and now they fight for first dibbs. The only challenge I have had is the ability to completely remove the cover for washing. It is very firmly attached to the plug in area, so i removed it as much as possible and hand washed, air dried and zipped it back into place. Sort of a pain, however, definitely worth the challenge! It is the best I ever!

Bought for vacation home in cold weather area. Our dogs are used to So. Cal. warmth. Gets just warm enough to be comforting, but not at all too warm to worry about or get hot. Super soft and sturdy sides. Great price, no way stores could compete with this. Once again, love Overstock.

Our dog a 70 lb. pit bull loves her bed. It's more than big enough and the gentle heat keeps her in it all night. She love hanging her head over the edge or just curling up in a ball against the sides. Well worth the money so that my husband and I can have OUR bed to ourselves.

This is the only bed my 1 and half year old English Bulldog has not destroyed. we've gone through so many beds. i keep a bed for him in every room of the house. I bought this bed just for sleep time a year ago and it is still in one piece. I keep it covered with a bedsheet for easy washing even though the cover of this bed easily comes off. I stil havnt used the heated feature because my bulldog gets hot very easily and never seems to be bold but I like that its an option should I ever need to use it!

My dog 70 lb. standard poodle is picky, but loves this bed. He flops all over the bed and has attempted every angle possible to lie in the bed, from a tight curl to every extremity sticking out. Doesn't matter, it's all comfortable to him. I don't always have the heater plugged in, but when it is, it works well.

My heated pet bed arrived very promptly. My English Bulldog couldn't wait to get in to it. She loves it..... and so do the cats. It is soft, the perfect size and color. My only wish is that I don't think it gets hot enough. But the animals seem to love it, so no complaints here. I would recommend this.

My senior Akita has bad knees and hips. I've tried other pet bed warmers, but they were either too hard or too hot for the dogs needs. This bed has been her favorite place since we put it in her space. We like the washable cover, and the low voltage warmer. While are winters are not severe here, we are frequently in the 30's, and this bed is perfect for an older dogs comfort and warmth.

Because my two rescued English Bulldogs destroy their beds trying to make "nests", I've bought a total of 7 beds from various manufacturers over the past year...making me something of an expert! And, I can tell you, none compare with the PetSafe Heated Sleeper. The microfiber cover especially is EXCELLENT... comes off (and goes back on) very easily, washes and dries like new, and is super strong! The foam is thick and dense...the best I've come across. My dogs sleep better in their warm cozy nests and the beds always look like new. Love it, love it, love it!! Wish they made one for people!

This might work for smaller dogs, but not for larger breeds. We have 4 large and giant breed dogs and have tried many times of bedding for aging companions. I don't recommend this one.

Have older dogs and the light added warmth of this bed is perfect for them. Cats love it too - they all pile in together as the winter has hit us. Cover looks to be easy on/off to keep clean and it looks well made all around

Overall the bed is what it says it is. Iwas expecting something more lush that what I got but the dog loves it and doesn't spend the time adjusting to get comfortable like he did with his last bed

I was looking for a sturdy bed that would last a while. Other beds I've had for my dog in the past last about a year and the stuffing is flattened or worn through. This is very sturdy. It took him about a day to where he'd go into it, but now he loves it. It's only slightly warm so your dog won't be overheated. The cover easily comes off for washing. My dog is about 55-60 lbs and fits comfortably in this bed. Would definitely recommend this. He also has bad hips so I thought he'd enjoy the heat.

I bought this bed for my 70 lb, 10 year old lab mix (Lucky), because I thought the heat would help his arthritis and also because he has a thyroid disorder and is cold much of the time. Before I bought the bed, Lucky slept with me, under the covers, but I thought he might like the bed during the day. He loves the bed so much that he doesn't even want to sleep with me anymore because he wants to be in his own bed! I also have a 3 yr old border collie mix (Luka) who loves the bed too so I had to get another one for her! She doesn't need the heat because she has longer hair, but I bought the heated bed anyway because the price was about the same as a similar non heated bed and this way I have the heat if needed later. I haven't had to wash either of the the bed covers yet because I keep sheets over them, so I can't comment on the level of difficulty it takes to remove them or put them back on. I checked many other websites for this same bed and Overstock definitely has the best price, especially when you figure in the shipping.
