Keep your PET SAFE
I have purchased many in ground fences from petsafe they have all worked great. I purchased this cat fence for a very small dog, This dog is under eight pounds. I'm not aware of a dog fence for that small of a dog. This cat fence works well. The only problem I have is with the collar, the probes are too short. this dog has thick fur, the good thing is you can buy longer probes for the cat collar. The petsafe fences for dogs comes with both sets of probes, for all fur thickness. Installation is not hard if you are a do it your selfer if not hire someone, there is allot of wire to bury.

Great product and customer support
I bought this for my cat who howls to go outside. It's great system if you keep up with it. I had a small problem and customer service was great (neighbor accidentally cut my wire with their lawnmower and the alarm sounded). It's definitely a weekend project too.

for small dog
I purchased this when I was at the end of my rope with my small 5 lb Papillon getting out from under my wooden fence. I purchased this cat version because the dog version collar was too large for him. I installed the fencing wire to my existing wooden fence, very easy installation completed in about 4 hours. It has worked like a charm, it only took a couple of zaps for him to learn that going near the fence was a no-no and he doesn't even attempt it now. Well worth the money, I'm sure would work for cats but has been a lifesaver for my small dog.
