I have a 90 lb. lab and this has been the best purchase I have ever made for him. He 'kennels" in this every n ight and he is able to completely stand up or lie down. The best is the portability of it; my daughter 'babysat' the dog recently and she packed this into her car and then assembled at her house without any effort. I am now making a purchase of one for their dog for vacation travel.

Well first let me say that this is a great price for this product. Delivery was fast and you can't beat what you pay for shipping and tax! So, it was indeed a great deal. Now, the quality of this soft crate is pretty iffy. Seems really thin to hold a dog who fits the spec size. I had a previous soft crate made by DockDogs that was great. Very heavy duty and well designed. This one - well not as great. If it wasn't such a hassle I would send it back and buy the XL DockDog crate - which is smaller than this one but probably a better value. But hey, the O price and shipping was great!

I have a standard poodle who kennels in a 42" metal crate at home. When sleeping away from home, many travel crates (pop-up style) are too small or flimsy (they roll) to feel comfortable to leave him alone. We had gone back to transporting his huge crate whenever we traveled, which was heavy, awkward, and disrupting to our home set-up. Was pleased to find this one-- totally worth it! It is almost the same size as his regular crate, which is hard to find for our tall boy (as one reviewer said, it's about 2" shorter height-wise than described, but is otherwise the same), so he is comfortable hanging out in there, even during the day. We can carry the crate in one hand and his overnight bag in the other, a feat that never happened with the wire crate. Easy to set-up/ take-down and frame is sturdy. The folded-up size fits well on top of our gear in the trunk (the metal crate just barely fits on the bottom of our trunk, which meant we always had to unpack everything else before being able to unearth the crate). Accordion-style collapse sets it apart from other fabric crates, making it a smaller transport size. Fabric seems durable, pockets are handy, pad is nice, and I like all the different door options. It's no wonder this was out-of-stock when I wrote this review-- it rocks! I'd definitely say that it's meant for dogs already crate-trained and aren't going to chew (no fabric crate would be impervious to that). Have been SOO satisfied with this purchase! Wish we would have done it sooner.

Prior to ordering this travel kennel, I read all the reviews to try and reassure myself...they all sounded positive...so I gave it a try. And yes it is a good travel kennel, pops up just like a kids play pen, nice and easy...took some treats to get my dog to even get in it, but he likes the side opened...he is a 60lb Pointer that stands tall and it works very nice for him. So I highly recommend this travel kennel.

We bought this for our German Shepherd. It is easy to set up, easy to clean and our pup is very comfy in it. It's great for when we travel. This kennel is a good buy.

This is my second crate. The first one held up so well I decided to buy it again when it was time to replace it. It's more like a den for my dogs. They go in it all the time even when they're not locked up. Definately worth the investment to be able to take home with them whenever they go on trips.

My dog has long legs and weighs 42 lbs. She was comfortable and liked being in the crate for sleeping or resting. Fits fine in the trunk. As I am an older woman I was a bit worried if I could handle the large crate - carrying it, opening and closing it etc. No problems at all. It is great for traveling and staying in a hotel or as a guest in a private home. PERFECT!

The best soft crate sold.. I could not believe I got it at the price I paid.

NIce, I like the zipper for the side panel. It enables my dog to use to get out of the sun. THe frame could be stronger and I suggest it for pets that are more easy going.

This was super easy to set up and isn't too heavy to carry from place to place. My puppy did well, even at 10 weeks. He did manage to chew up to mat his first time in the crate (it didn't fit very well anyway...it slipped around when he stepped on it!). Haven't head any trouble with the zippers like some of the other reviews mentioned.

Good quality soft-sided crate. Stitching looks good, zippers work well, opens/collapses easily. Very light weight (compared to a wire crate) so it will be easy to transport. Our dog was raised in a wire crate from ages 2mths to 20mths, and now at almost 3 yrs old he adapted easily/quickly to this new crate. We made the intro fun with treats and us playing in it with him. It'll be his "doggie tent" when we spend the night in hotels or camping. He's done with his chewing stage so he has no desire to chew or dig at the sides/windows.

I purchased the 42 in soft crate for my 86 lb dog to take on road trips. Unlike most soft crates this one folds like an accordian so when its folded up its smaller than most crates (when folded its 28w x 28H). I also have a metal crate for every day use. The metal crate is 42L x 31H x 28w. Although this crate is advertised at these dimensions it is actually 41.5L x 28 H x 28W. Although the extra 3 inch height would have been nice, my dog fits nicely - he's about 26" tall at the shoulder. The moment I put it up, my dog ran right in. He really seems to like it. The one thing better than the metal crate is the bottom, the bottom is soft and the blanket is great. I think its much more comfortable than the plastic bottom of the regular crate that you can feel the metal bars through. I haven't taken it on a trip yet, but I think it will work great when visiting friends or in hotels. The only thing I wish it had was cloth flaps to cover the screens. I thought it came with screens and cloth flaps. The blanket, plastic mat, leash and extra pockets to carry toys are great. Crate looks really nice, much better than a metal crate. Reminder, your dog should be crate trained before using this, its not a metal crate.
