  This is a well made, beautiful urn. It is made of heavy brass, and the detail work is crisp and clear. While this is something that is not "fun" to shop for, I was very pleased to find such a wonderful piece at very low price compared to the urns that I had researched on the internet.

  I purchased this item, hoping for a sturdy, long-lasting product. I wanted an urn to hold my pet's ashes, but I wasn't sure if I wanted the urn to sit on a shelf or for burial. The product description said the urn was could be used in both scenarios, so I felt it would be a good fit. I really liked the look of the product from the picture provided on the website. To me, it looked like it was made of a hard material, such as resin. The price made me think it was a durable material as well. When the product arrived, it was paper mache. It literally was not much thicker than newspaper. For $120 US, I felt ripped off, especially considering the intended purpose of the product. If you're looking for a product that is more than fancy newspaper with some twine attached, then look elsewhere. This product is not for you.
