I would recommend this to anyone who has a pet who likes to go for rides. It is safe and they can still see out the window. This is my second one and I feel comfortable knowing my best friend is safe in busy traffic.

I have a LoChorkie (Yorkie and Long Haired Chihuahua), my daughter has her brother. Holly Poo travels with me a lot and her brother often joins us. I found it is perfect for either her alone or with her companion. It was extremely easy to set up the booster seat and folds up and out of the way if I have a human passenger, I don't even have to remove it and the passenger doesn't even feel that it is there. The babies love being in the car and being able to see every thing around them. I often fear that if an accident would occur I would not be watching the accident as much as I would be protecting them. I am very happy with the booster seat and I feel if anything happens they are both protected and I need only worry about my performance behind the wheel. My daughter, of course, is going to order one as well. I would have like grey or black, but the blue looks good too. I really like the venting, not too hot in the summer or the winter (with the heat on in the car). I found I am able to latch both dogs to the halter and makes me feel comfortable to know that they are not going anywhere. Thank you, I really appreciate the fact that I was able to find this and at such a good price as well.

This is the third seat I've purchased--same brand and style--because of the value for the item and the safety for the dog. It's especially good for small dogs--it allows them to see out the window! When I tell the dogs to "get into your seat," they do. It's a win-win situation!

This is a great seat for my 13 pound Maltese! It can be tough getting him in and out of it because of the straps, but once he's in, he loves it as much as I do!

I had to get my toy poodle her own car seat because it wasn't exactly safe with her driving on my lap. Just the thought of me getting into a car accident with L.A. traffic got me nervous. I could see it now...with her flying to my feet near the pedals after a sudden stop...no thank you. Anyway, I took a chance with this car seat and not only is it attractive, but it fits around the seat of my Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly. Also, my dog LOVES it because it acts as a booster so she can easily see out the window. Now, she "jumps right into her car seat" and she's a happy camper...no more jumping into mommy's lamp while driving! P.S. I love Outward Hound too--they are a great brand of quality products and I give this product FIVE STARS. The price point is excellent too!

Strap adjustment is a challenge. But my Chihuahua is enjoying the ride in his seat and the ability to see around him. The sides do not always stay up firmly, but the safety clip reminds the little guy he cannot jump out.' I thought the price was right until I saw the recent ad from an outlet not too far away. They are advertising a seat which appears the same as my purchase, with adjustments, they say, for much less than what I paid. In the meantime,I am enjoying being able to drive and not worry about my pet falling and getting hurt. L. V.

Be aware that this seat does not work with all types of head rests. it does not work with my Chevy Trail Blazet or my Honda Accord. Also my dog got tangled in the support straps shown in the photo that hold the seat open,

My wild man chihuahua likes his new car seat. He can see out the windows and it keeps him busy and safe.

I bought the small car seat after checking the recomendations . I have a 7 lb puppy and although the car seat was very easy to install and she enjoys sitting in it I wish I had gotten the bigger size it is very small . So if you get on order the bigger size . I got this as I am taking a trip in the summer and needed my dog to be safe in the car but I will have to get a bigger size as in two months she will be out of it as she has very little room to lay down now. And she now weights 8 ibs

This is a great product for my little dog. It lifts him up so he can see out the window. The construction is great and my dog seems to like sitting in it.

I like this product very much. My dog is 9.5 lbs. & he is doing very well in his new seat. He used to try to sit on my lap when I was driving & that was not safe for either of us. I would recommend you purchace a harness (not included with the seat)for your dog before you take your pet for a ride. Also, there is a warning on the box that it is not safe on a seat with an airbag. I was able to attach it to the back seat on the drivers side of my car (subaru forester.) My dog is able to see me and watch out his window too. It's big enough for him to lie down & chew his chew toys. I love my dog.

This seat was just the right height for my "medium size" shi-tzu. She loved being able to look out of the back seat window. I was happy she was secure and safe and not on a passenger lap. The product materials seem sturdy and strong enough to last reasonable wear and tear. The only problem was I had purchased this medium sized carrier for a long trip. The sizing is perfect for a sit-up position, but a bit cramped for more than a 20 minute ride where the dog may want to lay down. I did like the product so I will have to order a larger size so my dog can lay down, stretch out a bit and not have to be tightly curled up .

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK WHO EVER CAME UP WITH THE BOOSTER SEAT FOR PETS. IT'S AGREAT IDEA MY LITTLE GIRLS ENJOY THERE RIDES IN THE CAR EVEN MORE. THEY ARE SECURED AND COMFORTABLE IN THERE VERY OWN CAR SEAT. VERY NICE THEY ARE SECURED AND HAPPY TO LOOK OUT OF THE CAR WINDOWS.

If you have a small dog that will sit perfectly still facing forward, I would recommend this booster seat. The main problem I have with it is, my 5 month old boston terrier slides around due to the slippery bottom, and the way it attaches to the seat is kind of awkward. He tries so hard to sit up and sit still, but every time I turn a corner, or come to a stop he slides all over the place.

My poodle loves it and so do I. Easy to install and my Smart Car doesn't even have traditional head rest (all one unit). Folds down easily against seat when she is not in the car. Best purchase and strongly made.

This is great for small dogs to get up high enough to look out! I like the safey color clip, also. Very nice, wish I would have bought more!

This item is perfect for my small dog, she gets to sit up and look out the window without being in my lap

The booster seat works great. The one problem was the plastic clip that holds the dog in the seat, broke the first time she was fastened in. So I replaced it with a medal fastener. Which works well. She is a little dog, so is now able to see out the window. Also she and I are much safer than when she was unattached to the car.

My dog usually sits in my lap, but since i bought this for her, she is safer and so am I. She loves to look outside and with a big truck that was hard. Now she can see.
