julyvalentine Rating:5.0I have cats, several that prefer outdoors. They liked lounging on my heated mats for snow removal for walkways, those are not recommended for pets though. Same idea when I saw these heated floor pet houses. Very sturdy, two exits, large enough for multiple cats and match my brown A frame house! Very good durable quality and construction, look like they would be easy enough to clean and I plan on using them year round. The cats like them also!

rosemari7 Rating:4.0We needed a new dog house because our dog had torn apart the previous one because he was and is a puppy. Our dog is a yellow lab. When we first got the house he would not go in it no matter what we tried. We put his food, water and bones in trying to get him to go inside. He would lay out in the cold and rain curled up in a ball. It was really hard for us to handle. Then we put the cedar chips from the pet store inside and that same night he went inside. Wow....what a relief! Now he loves it! It gets a little water inside on the sides from the rain. We live in Oregon so we get a lot of rain.

wendylove55 Rating:5.0Excellent product. Provides added warmth for the harsh NY winters. Kept a colony of feral cats alive this winter.

utcatlady Rating:5.0Got this chicken coop for my skinny 13 year old cat that has digestive problems and can no longer stay inside the house. My dilemma was that he's on the skinny side and gets cold easily. This product is the perfect compromise since I'm able to comfortably fit his over-sized pet bed, water, and food inside with room to spare. He's perfectly content with his new home and can come and go to do his business through the drop down door. It was really easy to put together in a couple of hours and it's made of good materials so I'm confident that it will stand up to the weather. I really love that the top opens up for easy access cleaning but be sure and lock the hinges before reaching inside -- the bruise on my upper arm is just now going away after three weeks.

jemunchkin1 Rating:5.0we bought about 2 years ago for our outside dogs. We got 2 of them and the flappy plastic doors too. Loved them and so do the dogs. Took to them quickly. After the first year in a covered carport area that does not see sun, we had a piece falling off. My husband fixed that and then we had issues w/ the bottom falling out. We have always had a pet bed (pretty plush) on top of the floor. Last year I added some foam (the type you use for a kids playroom floor or a workout or garage area and the pet beds. My dogs are both 50-60 pounds, and the bottom and back on 1 house only keeps falling out/off. We recently moved and used a heavy duty staple to repair and keep together and noticed the bottom fell out again. Its ply happening on one so i assume its a defective one. Dog s donÂ’t seem to mind since there is foam and a plush cushion over it. Flappy doors are great, unless you have a plush bed in the house then they donÂ’t flap. small scores to install so you have to be small enough to lay inside of house. Too hot hear in the south for use in the summer, so they are off most of the year.

maryhead Rating:5.0Our previous Dog House (bought at a large pet store) always got water in side when it rained. We have had this Dog House for about 6 months and it has Never gotten water inside during storms! I imagine if the wind is really blowing and rain coming down at an angle it would go inside, but with our Old dog house I had to take out the bedding and dry it every time it rained! Our dog didn't want to use this one at first because it was new and not familiar, but my husband threw treats inside it about 3 or 4 times and the next thing I knew our dog loved his new house!

happygromitla Rating:5.0I purchased this for an outdoor cat family I'm caring for. It was much, much nicer than I expected. The wood is very good quality -- once completed, the house is very solid and heavy. It's also a good size and has plenty of room for several cats. It was easy to put together. I am very, very pleased with it, especially given the price and the fact that so many outdoor houses on other pet sites are extremely expensive.

larietrope Rating:5.0Researched many dog houses for my 52 pound 6 month old coon hound pet. Excellent material, assembles easily, and "Reese" took to it immediately. More pleased than the igloo designs. Highly recommend.
