  This dog house is awesome! I was able to put it together without my husband home. It clicks (or slides) into place. I had to put dishwashing soap on the connections, as recommended in the pamphlet, and they went together with ease. After throwing a few treats inside to get our dog inside, he goes in by himself all of the time. There is so much room inside, that there won't be a problem when he reaches his full size of 85 lbs or so. I put my hand inside it when it was a really cold night to see if it was warm for him, and I was quite surprise. It was so warm and cozy for him and that made me not feel so bad that he was outside. Another thing is that he hasn't had the urge to chew it up...wish I could say the same for my new landscaping! Great house, great price, easy to assemble, and a happy dog. What more could you ask for?!

  When I put it together it didn't line up perfect but as long as it stands up to the quality it isn't really anything to complain about. The roof did have a crack that will eventually crack some more. So I contacted the company that made the doghouse and they sent me a replacement that didn't have any damage to it. Overall I would recommend and this is a great doghouse. I think at first I was more thrill than the dog. Later on after he went inside there it was the happiness. Plus I laid Pets cider chips inside the doghouse for him. My dog is medium size and this doghouse is really big for him but he has plenty of room because he doesn't like small doghouses.

  • How did the image on site compare with the actual product? When I received it the wood is painted black on the trimming by looking at the picture I thought something else. The image on the black was shiny.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Accurate to a point in other words it should have stated the wood is painted black and it isn't the shiny perfect black glossy paint but dull.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. I think it is as good as it can be.

  My dog loves this doghouse. I chose this house because of the double wall insulation. I also bought the door flap for the winter and this house really stays cozy. I also like the little window at the back that can be slid open for ventilation in cooler weather. Would recommend to anyone who loves their outside dogs.

  It looks very nice. I really like the plastic siding. First bummer is that the top doesn't flip up. But, I can get over that. The wood is very soft and the screws split the wood. I am worried that it's not going to hold up well. That said, it's been a couple of weeks and it still looks solid. One other cheap/cut corner is the molding on the top. There isn't any in the back! It's just a rough edge with the roofing and wood. I'll wait a few more weeks before I decide if I'll buy another one. If your dog chews on things, this dog house will not work for you!

  We were so pleased with this dog house. Delivered very quickly after ordering. We actually bought it for our outdoor cats. We added plexiglass on the inside of the windows as a wind blocker. It was very easy to put together. All the holes lines up for screws. You would not be disappointed with this purchase.
