    Very sturdy for my 12 lb dog. She loves sticking her head out of the top 'sunroof' when we are shopping. We've machine washed it quite a few times (after taking cardboard bottom out), and it washes and dries perfectly. Definitely recommend it!

  • Excellent carrier for kitties

    I ordered two; one to replace the hard plastic carrier our 2 year old cat had, one for our 8 month old kitten. I'm pleased with how roomy they are (Agatha is 2, 12lbs and has plenty of room, Gilgamesh is 8 months, 7lbs and I'm not overly concerned he's going to outgrow it.) I like that you can load your pet in from the top or the front but I -love- that the front loading can be done through the small mesh window or the whole front opens. I also really like the velcro tabs that allow you to roll the mesh windows back and leave the front and top open. I've got them both set up like that in the living room and the kitties are having a blast exploring their new kitty-caves.

    I ordered this to transport a Papillon puppy (1.9 lb) from Kentucky to Ohio and not wanting to sacrifice home storage space to hard-composition carrier that would likely get little use. Love EVERYTHING about this carrier! Phoebe the puppy goes most everywhere with me and this has proven itself worth it's weight in gold. There is a leash inside to attach to her harness to keep her from lurching about too much when she's doing her "puppy" goofiness as well as I have the handles secured with the seatbelt to prevent it from falling off of the passenger seat in the event of any sudden stops. There is plenty of room inside for her to turn, lay down, but not get into too much mischief along with a 'woobie' for warmth/comfort. The ride back was perfectly comfortable for her and she knows that is her "seat" when we get into the car. Love the multiple openings to be able to access her and the see thru mesh to keep a tight eye on her and her antics. Surely will appreciate the "collapsible" nature of the unit when need to have more space in car or going somewhere with humans or without Phoebe. Just amazed at the quality for the PRICE! love love love it! Recommend for those with small dogs and possibly cats (not sure about cats with claws though because of the mesh... seems very clawable).
