I haven't seen yet how this will work out in hot weather but so far she is afraid to get on it unless I spread her blanket on it. We really don't want to have to use her blanket in the summer but I will keep it and hope that she can adapt to it. That's the problem with buying for our pets; we never know if they will like it or not.

Poor Quality
These pet beds were set up for my 4 salukis, who are not hard on beds and they are far below the weight limit on a Large cot bed like this, yet in 3 weeks all 4 center nettings tore through completely. Since the dogs have had outdoor cots of multiple types for 7 years, and the 2 types lasted about 3-4 years each, I was pretty shocked when the center of these gave out in 3 WEEKS. Don't buy these, they should be sent back to the manufacturer for a full refund the quality is so bad.

I have a large dog, Sheppard/Lab mix, this bed is sturdy, big enough for her and she loves it. Well worth the cost.
